Welcome to Violet Art Sensory!

Hi there! I'm Vicki—a former Montessori teacher, a stay-at-home mom of two, and the hands behind every sensory experience you see here. We are based right out of North Carolina.

My journey into sensory play started back in my classroom days. I saw firsthand how children light up, focus, and truly connect with the world when they are given the freedom to touch, scoop, and explore.

When I became a stay-at-home mom, I wanted to bring that same intentional, hands-on magic into my own home. I began creating screen-free invitations to play for my kids, and that passion quickly grew into Violet Art Sensory.

Why Screen-Free Play? In a world full of glowing screens, I believe children thrive most when they can engage their physical senses. Sensory play naturally builds deep concentration, language development, and fine motor skills—all while letting kids just enjoy being kids.

Handmade with Care Everything we offer is carefully created with safety, vibrant engagement, and longevity in mind. Because our sensory products are completely handmade, they carry that extra touch of love and intention that mass-produced toys simply can't replicate.
